A trade mark is a sign that is used to associate goods or services with the commercial enterprise from which they originate.

Use of the trade mark gives a purchaser confidence that what is being purchased is the genuine article.

Words, numbers, logos and other signs alone or in combination can be registered as trade marks. When you apply to register a mark, you must specify the goods and/or services in respect of which it is to be used.

It may be wise to perform a search of existing trade marks to determine whether your proposed mark is free for use.

Our experienced trade mark attorneys can guide you through the process.
